The Beachside Charm Print Book

The book is a love letter as well as a promotion for Sandringham. Looking from an outsider’s perspective, Sandringham may seem
like a boring version of Brighton. However, the place is truly a hidden gem. There is a beautiful sense of belonging whenever I come here, since the people are so welcoming. Therefore, I tried to capture the close-knit atmosphere of the Sandringham community by showing the beautiful mural paintings all around the suburb, the community recreational activities, and the local shopping places. The best way to experience the special bonds of Sandringham people is probably through visiting a cafe. There is a brunch or coffee place on every sin- gle turn of the street. Because of how much I enjoy the atmosphere at the cafes, I dedicated one chapter to the coffee culture of Sandringham.

Since I love the murals, I turned the book pretty much into an illustration book, and recreated the beautiful scenery of Sandringham. It is very interesting to do it this way as I get to embrace the beauty of the place and give it new life. Furthermore, it is much more memorable than just taking a picture.
