Museum of Pizza

For this project, I was tasked to create a brand system and an app interface for Museum of Pizza.

Supervisor: Myra Thiessen.

Categories: Branding, UX/UI, Art Installation.

Softwares: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Cinema 4D.

Primary logo

The logo was inspired by the two most popular pizzas from Naples and New York. Neapolitan pizza with the signature bubbly crust, fresh mozzarella, and topped with a basil leaf. New York pizza with shredded cheese and salami.

Colours

The chosen colours are based on the colour of pizza’s ingredients around the world. The colours reflect aspects of the history and culture of pizza.

Every colour is labelled to represent its meaning, and give the brand personalities.

Supporting Illustrations

These illustrations are used as primary imageries representing the places, streets and cultures of different renowned pizza cities.

The arts will be applied throughout the brand applications. New illustrations should be created if there is a need for a new place.

Pattern Design

The pattern was created based on the logo and primary illustrations. The pattern will be used on various applications when the main illustrations can’t be applied.

Different imageries referencing pizza can be found in the pattern: stone oven, pizza cutter, cutleries, sauces, pizzeria, Vespa, etc...

App Design

The application was created with the priority of providing museum goers the best experience. On the app, visitors can buy tickets, save their parking passes, discover various parts of the museum on the palm of their hands. Try the prototype at: https://hcpnkc.axshare.com
